Old Wounds

[Scarlet]

Scarlet had been doing a lot of thinking lately, life was so fragile. It almost scared her. Her parents died so long ago, she decided to just try and think of positive things. It was a beautiful day, the sky was pure blue with no clouds. She smiled as she walked down into town, she bought some flowers. What she had to do was hard, for some reason she was still looking for peace. But she had Castial, they had been put threw hell. Within a few minutes, she stood before her parents tomb stone. Scarlet knelt down and silently sighed, putting the flowers down. Closing her eyes for a moment, she tried to relax. Because of Cas, she used her abilities for good.

She opened up her eyes and felt how the wind shifted, something deep down something was up. Scarlet closed her eyes, deep down she trusted her instincts. When she felt a warm breeze, she opened up her eyes. Something about Scarlet was strange, she was able to understand the true language of angels. And she could look upon Cas, seeing his true form. It was a great gift, to be able to understand the true form. She knew who it was now, and she smiled.

"Hello Cas" She said, without looking behind her.

[Castiel]

A warm budding feeling came into the pit of Castiels stomach, she was thinking of him. This always happened when she did, quickly he found her at the graveyard. Cas had found this woman a year ago, and thought of her as a piece of art among the other humans. She could actually see him for who he was, and not his artificial form. At first meeting her he felt nothing but eagerness, but as he spent more time with humans, his emotions began to fill in the crevices of his being. The time spent as a human only multiplied the extent to which he felt, and being resurrected seemed to have given him the ability to feel to an extent he had never felt.

Now when he saw her, he didn't just see the unique human, he saw a beautiful woman. Cas felt weird fluttering feelings in his stomach when he thought of her, it was a weird feeling, and he was afraid to express it, but he felt like he needed to. His hand extended to her shoulder as she called his name. His fingers sent a warm feeling through out those he touched, as to give joy, and to express the passion of the individual. Yet this time, it was not just her passion she would feel, but a little of his own, which was unheard of.

"Hello Scarlet, you were thinking of me, and as always I have come."

[Scarlet]

Scarlet smiled hearing his voice, she turned around. "Hey Cas" She said with a soft look on her face, he always knew how to get her to smile. They had been through a lot together, he was the reason why she was kind. When her parents died, she had so much hate. But he helped her through that, he came to her. She remembered one special situation she was in. It happened when she got into witchcraft, she had heard a high pitched scream. But the more she heard it, she heard words. And soon her hearing adjusted to the true, voice. She didn't understand it, and she had felt the same warmth he gives her now.

Before her stood an angel, beautiful and she didn't know how to act. And then her eyes did the same her ears did, she saw him as a normal looking guy. Those were the times, that really changed her. Because of Cas, she knew about demons and the Winchester brothers. The day Sam got his soul back, was the moment she had a vision. Scarlet turned around and smiled at him, he was handsome that was for sure. She had heard angels didn't feel, but something about him, made her think differently. She placed her hands on her hips. A kind smile on her face, he was always appearing out of no where.

"Just the angel I was thinking about" She said softly.

[Castiel]

Although Cas never smiled, her pose made a him grin the tiniest of bit. She had grown more to Cas then just a piece of art, she had become something beyond that, a true beauty. The way she smiled just made him feel warmth inside of himself, the kind he had never felt before. Something about her made his body want to reach out and kiss her, but he restrained himself at all times. Though his will was weakening towards her, and he knew it. Yet he let it go into his subconscious and did not care to think of it.

She was one of the people he truly cared for, and made this world worth protecting. If something were to happen to her, he would be greatly grieved. Though he knew that he would feel more then just that, but he tucked that into his subconscious as well. Cas let his guard down for just a second, and he found him self reaching out to her again, only this time he tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. At this point he quickly retracted his hand and looked away, "I'm sorry, these emotions can do a great deal on an angel." That was when he realized he was hungry.

"Are you hungry? Want to go to White Castle later?"

[Scarlet]

She always enjoyed there time together, it was always a different experience. But when he said White Castle, she laughed softly. "Yeah sure, I never thought I would see an angel eat white castles. Course with the plague issue you had, I wish I was there. I could probably help Sam and Dean, but I'm starving to. " Scarlet looked away for a moment, and when she looked back at him. She leaned in and took a chance, she didn't know if he felt love for her. But she took the chance and kissed him. Scarlet pulled away and looked into his eyes, he was special and thought for a moment. Scarlet sighed softly and relaxed a bit more. But as she let go she felt something.

Something powerful was around them, it was a feeling that almost took her breath away. But she recovered quickly, she rubbed her head and looked around. "These feelings I get are driving me nuts. First time we met, I think was the time. The witch part of me woke up. I do know one thing, another angel was killed. And I think I know who it is. The visions I get are not pretty, I think Lilith is back. But I am not sure." She said simply. "We have time to eat, so shall we my favoriet angel" She laughed softly.

[Castiel]

Cas loved the sound of her laugh, or at least he thought that's what his emotions told him. She was right about the White Castle, it was odd for an angel to crave them, but then again he did not care what other angels did, he had his own way now. Then he felt her lips, her soft supple lips pressing against his own, it sent shivers up and down his spine. Cas was sad when she pulled away, but then she had the weirdest look on her face, one that he recognized, something had happened.

She began to tell him, and then mentioned White Castle once again, though his body pushed the thought of that away, and it hungered for something else now, something more....passionate. That was when she was about to say something else, he put his finger up to her lips interrupting her, then pulled her toward him and kissed her. He had no idea where he had learned such a maneuver, but he decided to go with it. It was a strong fiery kiss, his lips sent the same sensation as he had when he touched her shoulder, only greater this time, and more of his passion was involved. Cas was still fighting it, but gave up and put all of himself into it, this woman...she was something else, some one he could trust. She could see and hear him for who he was, something barely any one could do, dare he say that he loves her.

"I believe what this emotion I'm feeling is love...." Though it sounded cold, to her she would have to know that it was something special. "Yes lets go to White Castle......though.....my body...and I don't really know if this is normal....wants something else...and I don't quite think its....uh yea never mind."

[Scarlet]

Scarlet was very surprised, the kiss he gave her. She thought angels didn't love. But this kiss showed her other wise, she closed her eyes. Putting all of her love into the kiss. When he pulled away she smiled even more, he was special after all. Scarlet placed her hand on his cheek, looking into his soft eyes. "And here I thought angels don't feel love, but you are not like the others. I love you Cas, I have for a long time. I am glad that I'm not like other people, able to see what is really here. And yes, what you are feeling is love. It's a feeling that is nice, I like our time together." Scarlet said, relaxing a bit more and felt his breath on her skin.

That was how close they were, things happened for a reason. "My parents always believed in a world not many people know about. But let's get something to eat" She said with a soft laugh. Deep down she made a vow to herself, to always be there for him. She refused to let anyone hurt him, he was an angel yes. But even angels can die, since she knew his feelings for her. She took his hand and nodded to him. "Alright Castiel, lets get something to eat." She said simply.

[Castiel]

Cas decided to just go with the flow as humans often said, he wrapped his arms around Scarlet and smiled. "Take a deep breath, and uh close your eyes I guess or keep them open, honestly I don't how my travel will affect you, but I know I can take you with me." He actually smiled once more, he was actually enjoying the warmth of her body against his. It was then that his, wings appeared, to normal humans they seemed black, but to others that could see, they were a pearl white, if a normal human saw this it would surly blind them, that was how pure his wings were. In a flash they arrived at White Castle, though they were out side the door.


"I decided on White Castle after all, though he was always certain that was what he was going to get. He made sure to actually have money on him so he could pay for the both of them, though it was his secret to how he got the money, he actually cheated and made it just appear in his wallet, after all he was an Angel, and to him it was OK, he was not stealing money just making more of it go into circulation, help get the economy get out of its rut. Though that was all just an excuse so he could get White Castle. "So what shall you have?"

[Scarlet]

Scarlet watched him, she was curious so she kept her eyes open. She saw his wings, he was something else that was for sure. When they got to the destination, he was full of interesting surprises. When they walked into the diner, she saw a nice little booth and took Cas's hand. She sighed a bit. "I haven't been here since I was little, place hasn't changed" She said simply. Scarlet always enjoyed the place, cheeseburgers were to die for. Once she relaxed a bit, looking at Cas. Something had been on her mind for a long time now. She just hoped Cas didn't know about it.

Being open was something she always had been, but looking around from her seat. "It's been a while since we went out together, fighting seems to be getting harder and more are coming. But I consider this a date, but what kind of a date is up to you Cas. I have bumped into many people, and glad to have someone in my life. " Scarlet said warmly.

[Castiel]

Of course he could tell something was on her mind, it was the way she looked, and it also helped the fact that he was an angel. "Well lets hope its better then you remember." He said lightly, of course he loved the place, he ordered fifty sliders for them. "Then like four of your chicken sliders, two large fires, and Two large drinks" Cass then payed and looked back at Scarlet, "Thats like a normal order right? I'm not sure, last time I was here I ate a lot of them. "


"I think we can consider this our first date, as in, oh how do they say....a like when two people get together.....um a ...couple is that it...yea I think that's it. Also what is on your mind, you can not fool me I am a angel after all, come on cough it up." He actually smiled at her and waited for her to say something.

[Scarlet]

The order was pretty cool, a normal order? well things were small in the area. She smiled, he was like a kid in a candy store. That made her laugh and sighed a bit. She reached into her bag and took out a box. Scarlet made sure no one was around, didn't want stares. She opened it up, it was a silver knife. "This knife was made with holy water, on the handle is Latin." She looked down at the knife and said what was written on it. "The light of war" She sat back. "There are only two people that can use this. You and I can use it, Lilith is back Cas and that means Lucifer is out there. I know your a big boy, but if something happened to you..." She looked down.

"I would never forgive myself if something happened to you" Scarlet smiled and looked back up.

[Castiel]

Cas took the gift and tucked it away, "Thank you, but make sure you have something to protect yourself with, being...being with me will cause some unruly people to come looking. Think of me and I will come as I always do. I still want you to have something to protect yourself with however, maybe Ill contact the Winchesters, they may have something for you." Cas then reached into his jacket and pulled a bouquet of vibrant roses out and handed them over to her. "I think this is what is exchanged normally. "

When she said she would not forgive her self if something happened to him, he leaned over and kissed her once again. "If something happens to me, its because I couldn't protect you with out giving up my life, do not ever blame your self, or I will haunt you until you get me exorcised." Cas laughed a little bit at his joke. "I will however use this with pride, I will always keep it close, Ill see if I cant deal with Lilith and Lucifer, I doubt I will be able to harm Lucifer a lot, but god did make me stronger, Ill just contact the Winchesters like I said, then we can get the hunt under way."

[Scarlet]

Scarlet smiled at the roses and watched him carefully, he was a gentlemen through and through. When he kissed it, she closed her eyes. Very content, the kiss may have only been a few seconds. felt like years. It was a feeling she enjoyed a lot, when the kiss broke she nodded. "Yeah because I know witchcraft wont save me alone, I know you will always come when I call or think of you. You know me I don't keep secrets." She said simply.

She smelt food and saw someone coming over with the meal, Scarlet looked at him and grinned. "You act like you haven't eaten for a week" She smirked at him. She took a sip of her drink, and noticed people, talking and relaxing. She was thinking of the Winchesters now, what ever happens. They will make it, they had to.

[Castiel]

"Good you better not, cause I can find out any secrets you keep from me." He winked at her in a joking manner. The food arrived and he was ready for it, it all looked so good, he split the burgers into two piles, and the chicken sandwiches into two piles, and put a large fry next to each pile. Then gave a whole pile that was split evenly, 25 sandwiches in each pile, plus two chicken sandwiches, to scarlet. "If it looks that way its because I haven't, I get too busy to eat, taking care of demons and all that."

Cas then dug into his pile, finishing off burgers left and right, they were not that big after all so its not like he was scarfing them down, it just only took a couple bites to eat one. "This is great, I knew there was a reason I liked this place. So after this wanna go back to your place." He said it in a suggestive manner, of course he did not realize what he was really asking, he just thought it was a popular thing to do after a date, go back to a house and have some drinks or something, he had no idea the implications his voice made it sound like.

[Scarlet]

Scarlet was so surprised at how he was eating, she didn't even know if it was humanly possible. Then again, he isn't human, she ate and thought for a moment. He asked to go back to her place? she looked at him, he was serious and nodded. "Yeah sure, I could go for a drink. Sounds fun, hell no one ever comes by. I spend a lot of time outside, among life and death. Kicking demon and bad angel asses, and you may want to slow down on the eating Cas. Your vessel can still get sick and I don't think you want to be puking. "

He always made her laugh, she was always there, he was there for her as well. She enjoyed the food, it had been to long. It's amazing and something, in her heart made her feel even more warm. She was eating a lot. Which was different for her, since she never eats this much. But hell, she doesn't care. She is constantly on the move.
